The information here is general

The descriptions of our services, the notes about housing stock in particular towns, and the answers in our FAQ sections are written to be genuinely useful, but they are general guidance about painting, drywall and remodeling work. They are not an inspection of your property and not professional advice about your specific building, and they should not be relied on as a substitute for someone looking at the job.

Estimates and quotes

Nothing on this website is a price, an offer or a contract. We give free estimates, and a price becomes a price only when we have put it in a written quote for your particular job. A quote we give from photographs is our best assessment of what can be seen in those photographs; if the work turns out to differ from what the pictures showed, we will tell you before we carry on and you can decide what you want to do.

Timelines we discuss are estimates. Drying times for joint compound, paint and primer depend on temperature and humidity, exterior work depends on weather, and permit and inspection schedules are set by your village rather than by us.

Permits and local requirements

Permit and contractor-registration requirements differ from one municipality to another in Illinois, and they change. Anything this site says about them is a general description, not a statement about your project. We will go through what applies to your job with you before work is scheduled — call (779) 939-9711 and ask.

Content and images

The text, artwork and photographs on this site belong to us. Any photographs of completed work are of jobs we carried out ourselves. Please do not copy or republish them without asking first.

Submitting a request

When you use our estimate form, please give us accurate details — we quote from what you tell us. Submitting the form does not create a contract; it starts a conversation. How we handle what you send is set out in our privacy policy.

Availability and links

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either. We also link out to our Instagram profile, and we are not responsible for the content of sites we do not operate.
